Having exercised for over 40 years I plain became interested in fettle trackers. I went through several brands until I finally decided to splurge on a Fitbit. The first Fitbit model had a problem with the wrist band falling off and several times I feared losing it. In fact, twice I had to contact Fitbit to aid me find information technology. However, they could offer no assistance in keeping it on my wrist. And so I upgraded to a Fitbit Charge four GPS that cost approximately $125 on Amazon. It did everything I needed. However, subsequently nearly 9 months, one cease of the device completely broke off. I didn't believe I had put any stress on it and the phone tech told me assured me I hadn't, and even shared that it was a known product event. They replaced it for free.

The replacement was an updated Charge 4 GPS. Notwithstanding, within 6 months, the end of this device snapped off. Fitbit'due south Warranty squad wrote and said I was out of warranty (one-yr total time) even though this phone tech still best-selling the continued defect. They offered me a 35% disbelieve to continue my Fitbit loyalty. I was livid and countered that they were expecting customers to pay for their known, unresolved! Car owners didn't accept to pay for recalls. She shot dorsum that she couldn't alter her offer. I told her that I expected electronics to last longer than one year, e.one thousand., that I have a 25-year-former IPOD and a 15-twelvemonth-old home entertainment organisation. She said that was irrelevant. I said, OK, so refund my original buy price. I worked difficult for that money. She said that wasn't an option. I responded that Fitbit manifestly didn't give a damn about their customers and hung up.

Kids got me a brand new Fitbit charge v for my birthday. After the initial excitement wore off, and I had used it for a few days, it just fell off my wrist. I was non doing annihilation heady, just walking down the stairs. Take no idea why it would fall off simply in that location it was. The piddling piece that held the strap in was on the stairs. I scooped it upwardly. It looked complicated and inadequate. Why engineers fail on systems that have worked well for centuries escapes me but there it was. Have no idea what all the excitement is about. Information technology simply is not worth the upgrade from my Fitbit Accuse iv. Back information technology goes to Amazon where I am sure information technology volition join others in the bargain bin. Come on Fitbit you can practise better!

Please don't waste material your money on Fitbit. You can buy a good Apple tree Lookout man for nearly the same cost. I have endemic Fitbit trackers before the alta & original Fitbit getting this new design as a Christmas souvenir. I got the Luxe with the gold chain link ring Gorjana. It'south a nice look however not made well. The band comes autonomously every few days at the contact with tracker. I push button information technology back on and unfortunately doesn't stay put. Plus the screen is so small yous tin can't read it. For $200.00 I wish I got the Apple tree Watch instead. I lost my luxe at Animal kingdom. Now I will get the Apple Spotter. Bye goodbye Fitbit.

I take been a loyal Fitbit customer since 2016. I take had the Charge2, two Charge3'southward and now the Inspire2. I had had piddling to no issues with the Charge models. My main issue is the App. I can no longer sync to the App. It will say to await for 20 or xxx minutes then neglect. Support told me I needed to update my IPhone. I told them I have and there are no new updates for my model. I was told my telephone is now also old for their new apps. He said, "You need to buy a new telephone."

My (bought and paid for) Fitbit worked with my current phone for over a year. Fitbit updated me out of a working device, I am washed with them. I believe the event is that I am able to prepare my privacy settings so that they cannot harvest my personal data and other activeness to sell it so it cannot consummate the update. This is upsetting to me because my daughters and granddaughters and I have been doing challenges for the last couple of years. Every bit we live in 4 different states it was a great style to stay connected.

I accept been a proponent of Fitbit products since 2014. I have had multiple Charges. I've had an Ionic (and a replacement one) and about recently the Sense. I have even had two of their weight scales. I have put faith in my ability to troubleshoot (with and without Support) and give the product and the visitor the benefit of the doubt by getting replacements and giving it another shot. I'm hither to tell y'all I'm tired and absolutely DONE trying to support Fitbit. The product quality has gotten worse and worse and their inability to exist accountable for poor product quality is embarrassing. The most recent group of products just stopped charging or turning on subsequently updates. And, yeah, I have done the updates as suggested and done everything to keep the product in its best state. But, I am constantly disappointed.

My Sense stopped charging after JUST 4 MONTHS of use. Support was understanding but had no recourse for me other than a replacement (after the only 45 days of opportunity for a full refund). A replacement of a poor product is not worth my time and, frankly, it shouldn't be the consumer's role to replace your product more than ofttimes considering you made information technology poorly to begin with. Spending hundreds of dollars has merely gotten me more time calling Support and waiting for my next shipment of a replacement to come in. Then, long story brusk, I'm washed with Fitbit. Purchase at your own risk.

I take endemic my Fitbit for awhile. I fifty-fifty updated to the inspire 2, loving the kickoff one, just I'm not happy with it. Soon after buy the time no longer appears when I turned my wrist. I have to push both buttons on the side. Lived with it afterwards trying to fix information technology several times. NOW, since April, it no longer records my sleep. I have done EVERYTHING I've been told to practice and it still doesn't work. How I sleep and telling the time are the only reasons I bought it. I'chiliad hoping someone at that place sees this. Returning is an effect, apparently. I'd love to get one that works. Sad and Unhappy Stacy **. Abilene Texas.

I bought a Fitbit Charge three in 2019 based on the Fitbit proper noun. At first I LOVED it! After having it close to a year I noticed the screen would become black. It would fizz, but nothing on the screen. I went on their website and institute the solution... It worked. And so information technology started doing it more. After a niggling over a year... just out of warranty... the screen went black and stayed blackness. If y'all await at the forums, you'll see this is a HUGE problem affecting hundreds of their customers. Support was useless and condescending. When trying to post on their forums my posts were repeatedly deleted as beingness "inflammatory or irrelevant." Recently they banned me from their site.

Later the commencement one died, I posted on my Facebook page about this defective production. I of my friends had a Charge 3 merely (wisely) had switched to an Apple scout. She gave me her Charge 3. It worked groovy... for one yr and 2 months. It too has developed the black screen of expiry. I just purchased a Garmin. I will NEVER purchase another Fitbit product. They practise not stand up behind their products and intendance absolutely nothing near their customers. Shameful for such a well known company.
