Fortnite Affiliate 3'south Winterfest gives players all-new holiday-themed events to do, but the cold conditions doesn't last forever. While snow melts closer to springtime in some parts of the real world, the snow covering a big portion of the island in Fortnite will start melting away a lot sooner. How much sooner will players begin to see snowfall recede? Let'southward take a look.

Co-ordinate to Fortnite content creator HYPEX, the snow will start melting on January 7, 2022, at approximately 4 AM ET. The melting process volition completely alter the island's map in ix stages, so all the snow volition be gone nearly overnight, not every bit gradually every bit it unremarkably takes in existent life. HYPEX pointed out that the melting snowfall will reveal the Tilting Towers around the 6th stage.

Still, HYPEX pointed out that the snow may not be completely gone. They tweeted a screenshot from a Happy Ability YouTube video talking about the mid-flavour update showing two versions of how the map volition appear mid-season. The map on the left shows a snowfall-free island, while the map on the right is a concept map they made of the snow all the same roofing Camp Cuddle, Logjam Lumberyard, and Shifty Shafts. They said that the erstwhile map may be a placeholder and the snow might cook until information technology makes the isle appear like their concept map.
